Pease Gives Back to the Environment

The holiday season isn’t the only time red and green can be seen at Pease Bindery. The friendly staff at Pease strives to be “green” all year through our recycling and environmental efforts. We know the importance of being a friend to the environment and we at Pease have many ways of being eco-friendly. Here are a few:

  • Recycling excess paper and waste, including book covers, excess catalogues, magazines and directories as well as any pre-bound manufacturing pieces
  • Disposing of glues and adhesives in a safe and eco-friendly manner
  • Recycling employee trash such as aluminum cans and plastic
  • Reducing the use of styrofoam and non-recyclable products throughout the office and shop

Pease Bindery also takes our “green” commitment a step further; we donate all aluminum can tabs before the cans are recycled to Ronald McDonald House benefiting children by giving them time on dialysis equipment. Our goal is to be a good friend to both the environment and community. We work towards both every day.

Your friends at Pease Bindery wish you happy holidays and we look forward to working with you in 2009!
